Our Story

From Mrs Kim's Kitchen to Your Home

Over 30 years ago, Mrs Kim — a Korean migrant — began marinating meats for home barbecues and community gatherings in Melbourne. With nostalgia for the flavours she grew up with and a dedication to traditional methods, what started as shared meals between friends became a beloved Melbourne institution.

Today, we bring that same tradition to your home. Every cut is marinated using Mrs Kim's original recipes — no shortcuts, no preservatives, no MSG. Just honest, authentic Korean BBQ, exactly the way Mrs Kim has always done it.

Keep chilled below 5°C and follow the use-by/storage label on each pack. If you will not cook raw meat within 2 days, freeze it. Thaw in the fridge. Store raw meat sealed on the bottom shelf, separate from banchan and salad. Fresh sides and salads: keep chilled and follow their label; do not assume they are suitable for freezing.
